I got my first taste of creative notoriety in 1985 when, at the tender age of eight, my poem entitled “Why” was published in Highlights Magazine. With my own small shoes to fill, I embarked on a career as an art director that has seen my work published in Archive Magazine, Creativity and Communication Arts. After a decade-long adventure in San Francisco, I’ve returned to Texas’ Capital City where I work as an art director and artist.
I love watercolor illustrations and all things handmade—especially breakfast tacos. I’m inspired by the outdoors, thrift store finds, bright colors and free spirits including my kids.
